Technology is such that there is a large fixed cost to produce a CD, then a tiny cost to make additional copies. A person paying zero for a copy does not
deprive the seller of the chance to sell to another person at a positive cost, as it would the producer of a physical good.

If there is enough room to stand in, I can make this same argument to the owners of Disneyland. Does anyone really believe that a property law that forbade Disney from charging me admission would have no effect on the decision to build the park in the first place? [Manage messages]
