Our argument is that downstream licensing should not be allowed. That is, AFTER you buy something, you should be free to do with as you wish. The Disneyland analogy is not that Disneyland should not be able to charge for admission, but rather that if you buy tickets to Disneyland, you should be able to resell them. We do not advocate stealing, nor do we see how an efficient economic system can function without government enforcement of property rights. We are advocating that the government refuse to provide legal enforcement of downstream licenses. [Manage messages]
